Riverside Mission Inn Wedding | Kristin + John

This is going to be a first for my blog! I am having a guest blogger!! :) Kristin’s Mission Inn hotel wedding was so gorgeous I wanted her to tell the story herself :) enjoy!

“The minute we had gotten engaged I knew there couldn’t have been a more perfect place to get married, so we both knew that The Historic Mission Inn is a beautiful place that incorporated both our styles. That morning I woke up not being nervous at all, I felt excited that this day had finally come and I couldn’t wait to marry my love. After I had gotten ready and was in my dress I was nervous. But seeing myself in my dress and veil I knew I had picked the perfect dress after trying on about 25 of them, I wanted my dress to be a more traditional lace and I also wanted my dress to be an off white vintage color. I knew I wanted a long flowing veil before I had picked my dress. When I was all dressed and ready I felt like I wanted to hurry up and kiss my husband to be.

Then came the walk down the aisle, I think I couldn’t feel anymore nervous waiting outside the chapel doors. Those doors are huge, have you seen them?!! My heart couldn’t beat any faster once those doors opened, the music played and all my nervousness went away. Walking down the aisle I felt great until I saw my bridesmaids crying, then I looked at John and saw him crying and then it made me cry. That’s when I knew he was more than the one.

Now on to the party time! When we came in for our grand entrance I was happy and excited, of course how couldn’t I be the next best chapter in my life was going to start. Our first dance was so romantic. We have never had a song so we didn’t have one picked out, when the mariachi started to play Gema john said to me while we were dancing, that this is my song and that I was his gem. I chose the design of my cake, I wanted elegant and simple and no one really cares what it looks like just how it tastes! ;) The candelabra center pieces were what I wanted from day one because they look so beautiful. My father daughter dance was special to me because I have never danced with my dad, ever! It was our first father daughter dance and it was at my wedding so it was more meaningful to me.

Our wedding couldn’t have turned out more great. I had a lot of fun planning it and what made it more great is that we both enjoyed ourselves on the day of! I let no stress get to me and had fun and enjoyed the whole day. I couldn’t have been happier that our wedding came out like a dream! Here’s to our marriage! I know it will be more than beautiful.” Thank you, The new Mrs. Reveles

It was the most memorable wedding we had ever attended. It was a brides fantasy come true. The ambiance of the venue was of a time long ago, like stepping back in time with people we love sending a young couple into their future. May God bless our niece and her love… always.
